StitchFox is built so that your photos stay with you. This page explains the little we do collect.
Your photos
Patterns are made in your browser. Photos you use with the pattern makers are not uploaded to our servers.
If you choose an AI tool, the photo (reduced to at most 1024 pixels) or your text description is sent to our image provider, APIMart, to generate one image. We don't keep your photo. The generated image is held by the provider for about 24 hours so your browser can download it.
What we store
- Signed random identifiers in cookies to remember purchases and enforce the daily AI allowance. A separate browser identifier is also kept in local storage so the browser allowance can survive cookie removal.
- For purchases: the order ID, the email you paid with and when your access ends.
- A keyed hash of your IP address, rather than the raw IP in our quota database, to limit free AI to one generation per network per UTC day. Daily quota records expire automatically. People sharing a network share its free allowance.
- Standard server logs kept by our host for security, for a short time.
Payments
Payments are handled by Waffo Pancake as merchant of record. Card details go directly to them and never reach us.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time. Free AI needs browser storage to remember its allowance. To have purchase records deleted, email support@stitchfox.app.
