Finished size depends on the stitch count and the fabric count. Higher counts mean smaller stitches and a smaller piece.

Which thread colors does it use?
Every color is matched to one of the 489 current DMC six-strand floss colors, so the codes on the chart are the ones you buy.
How many skeins do I need?
The color key estimates skeins for full stitches with 2 strands on 14-count Aida, at about 1,600 stitches per skein. Buy one extra of the colors you use most.
What size will my finished piece be?
Width in stitches divided by your fabric count. An 80-stitch-wide chart is about 5.7 in on 14-count Aida and 4.4 in on 18-count.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Patterns are made in your browser. A photo only leaves your device if you choose an AI tool, and then it is sent once to generate the image and not stored.

How many colors should a photo pattern use?
Pets and portraits look natural with 20 to 30 DMC colors. Logos, cartoons and simple shapes need only 6 to 12. More colors mean more thread changes.
